"I was a little nervous when I…"
I was a little nervous when I couldn’t log in, especially since I’m careful about account access. Support got back to me fast, handled it smoothly, and had me back in my account really quickly. Definitely appreciated how easy and stress-free it was.

"Good for phones, a bit hit-or-miss on tablets"
It works fine on my phone, but using it on my tablet can get a little annoying sometimes. If you’re mainly planning to use it on a phone, you’ll probably be okay, but I’d keep that in mind if your tablet is your main device.

"Good app, just a bit glitchy"
I’m really into the focus tracks, they help me lock in for sure. But the app does freeze sometimes and takes forever to load on my phone, which is kinda annoying. Still useful overall, just needs a few fixes to make it smoother.

"Headphones are kind of a must"
Brain.fm seems decent overall, and I can see why people like it. I just didn’t really catch how much you’re expected to use headphones until after I started trying it out. The audio definitely makes more sense with them, I think, but that probably should be clearer upfront. Not a dealbreaker or anything, just a little annoying.

"Works well"
I’ve been using it for a bit now, and it works well overall. Even my brother tried it out and thought it was simple enough to use. No major complaints so far.

"Helpful for focus, but keep an eye on billing"
i mean, brain.fm was decent for me overall. I used it for a few months, and the focus tracks actually did help me sit down and get work done sometimes. I wouldn’t call it magic or anything, but it was useful. The main downside was the billing. I forgot about the renewal date and got charged again, so that’s partly on me, but I do wish the reminder had been more obvious. Canceling wasn’t terrible, but it took a little digging to find where to do it. Support did get back to me, just not super quickly. Overall, it’s an okay service. Just make sure you keep track of your billing dates

"I mostly forget it’s even on"
I put Brain.fm on when I’m working, half the time I forget it’s playing, which is kind of the point. I don’t really remember specific tracks or anything, just that it doesn’t bug me or make me want to keep skipping around. It sits in the background nicely and helps me stay focused without making the music another thing to think about.

"Onboarding was okay, not amazing"
The setup mostly made sense, so that part was fine. But a few steps were vague and I found myself getting a little lost at times. Meh. Not terrible, just not as smooth as I expected

"I mostly use brain after work…"
I mostly use brain after work when I’m feeling mentally drained and just need my brain to stop spinning for a bit. The relaxation tracks aren’t some kind of instant magic, but they do help me settle down. Usually after about 10 minutes, I feel a lot calmer and less scattered. The app is simple to use too, which I appreciate when I don’t have the energy to mess with anything complicated. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"I’ve been using Brain.fm when I need..."
I’ve been using Brain.fm when I need to focus, it does feel like it helps most of the time. I like that they explain the science behind it, even though I can’t say I’ve fully verified all of it or anything. It doesn’t feel like some magic fix, but on days when my brain is scattered, putting it on usually makes it easier to settle in and get work done.

"Actually helps with my loud apartment"
I started using brain.fm mainly because my apartment is just... noisy. My upstairs neighbors make the most random sounds at the worst times, and I was starting to wonder if I was being too sensitive or just losing patience. Regular music didn’t really help because then I’d end up paying attention to the songs instead of working.

The brown noise and focus tracks have been surprisingly good for me. I don’t know if I expected much, and part of me still wonders if I’m giving it too much credit, but it does seem to fade into the background while covering enough of the noise that I can actually concentrate.
It’s not some miracle fix, but it makes my workdays way less irritating. I’ve ended up using it almost every weekday, which probably says enough.

this has been really helpful for me, especially when my head feels overloaded... less headache, less noise in my Brain.fm, just feels easier to get through the day

"Solid focus music, especially for work"
I mostly use the browser player while I’m working, and it’s been reliable for staying focused. It loads without any fuss, which I appreciate because I don’t want to mess around with another app during the day. I do get the sense they’re trying to keep the mixes familiar on purpose so you don’t get distracted, but sometimes they end up feeling a little too samey. Still, it does the job and I keep coming back to it

"Helpful, but the subscription feels pricey"
It works well when I need to focus (which is why I tried it in the first place), but the subscription feels a little too expensive for how often I actually use it. I don’t mind paying for useful tools, but for my needs, it feels like a bit much.

"Wish More Apps Were This Upfront"
I wish I’d found brain sooner, because the pricing was actually clear before signing up. No weird surprise fees, no random add-ons showing up at checkout, I knew exactly what I was paying for. After dealing with apps that make pricing feel like a guessing game, this was a relief and made brain feel a lot more trustworthy

"Actually helped me focus!!"
I tried the free trial while I was working, it did help me stay on task!! It’s not some magic fix or anything, but it worked better for me than my usual music playlists

"It actually remembers my spot"
I’ve been using it between my phone and laptop, and it just... picks up where I left off. The sync is quick too, which is nice because I’m usually jumping between devices and forgetting what I was doing.

"I usually put on brain.fm when I’m..."
I usually put on brain.fm when I’m feeling low or just kind of stuck... after about 10 or 15 minutes, my head feels a little lighter. I’m less grumpy too, which is nice. I didn’t really expect it to do much, but, yeah, it actually helps.

"Pretty Convenient for My Schedule"
The custom sessions have worked well for my day so far. I think they fit into my schedule nicely without feeling like too much of a hassle.

"Useful offline, but the loading issues get frustrating"
I like having this available when I’m offline, and when it works, it’s genuinely helpful. The only issue is that sometimes my tracks don’t load properly, which can be annoying, especially when you’re relying on it. It’s still useful overall, but it feels fair to expect the basic stuff to work consistently.
